These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of yourtechpathway.com and the Your Tech Pathway™ masterclass, VIP Experience, Action Guide, and related pages and services (together, the "Services") provided by Melden Tech LLC ("Melden Tech," "we," "us," or "our").
By registering for a masterclass, purchasing the VIP Experience, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. WHO CAN USE THE SERVICES
You must be at least 18 years old to register or make a purchase. By using the Services, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and current.
2. THE FREE MASTERCLASS
Registration for the Your Tech Pathway™ masterclass is free. A registration reserves a seat in a live online session on the date and time shown on the registration page. Seats are limited and the room may close when capacity is reached.
The masterclass is delivered live over Zoom. We may change the date, time, format, or content of a session, or cancel it, at our discretion. If a session is rescheduled or cancelled, we will notify registrants by email and, where provided, by text message.
Attendance is at your discretion. A replay is not included with free registration.
3. THE VIP EXPERIENCE
The VIP Experience is a paid upgrade offered to masterclass registrants. The price is shown at checkout. The VIP Experience includes:
- Everything included with free registration
- One private 20-minute Tech Pathway session with Melanie Oates, held over Zoom and scheduled after the masterclass
- The Your Tech Pathway™ Action Guide, delivered as a digital download
- Replay access to the masterclass, delivered by private link
VIP availability is limited and may close before or at the start of the live masterclass. The VIP Experience cannot be added after the masterclass has taken place.
4. PAYMENT
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. By submitting a purchase, you authorize us to charge the stated amount to your chosen payment method. Prices are in U.S. dollars. Any promotional code must be entered at checkout and cannot be applied after a purchase is complete.
5. REFUNDS
All VIP Experience purchases are final and non-refundable, as stated at checkout. This is because the Action Guide is delivered digitally immediately after purchase and private session time is reserved on your behalf.
If we cancel the masterclass and do not reschedule it, we will refund VIP purchases in full. If we reschedule it, your VIP purchase carries over to the new date.
6. PRIVATE SESSIONS
Your private session must be booked through the scheduling link we provide after purchase. Sessions are 20 minutes long and take place over Zoom.
You may reschedule your session using the link in your booking confirmation, provided you do so at least 24 hours before the scheduled time. If you miss your session without rescheduling, we will make one reasonable attempt to rebook it. A second missed session without notice forfeits the session, and no refund will be issued.
Private sessions are a guidance conversation based on your background and goals. They are not a guarantee of employment, income, or any particular outcome.
7. THE ACTION GUIDE AND OTHER MATERIALS
The Action Guide, replay, and any other materials we provide are for your personal use only. You may not copy, share, resell, publish, or distribute them, in whole or in part, without our written permission. All materials remain the property of Melden Tech LLC.
8. NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS
The masterclass, private sessions, and materials are educational. They share Melanie Oates's experience and perspective to help you think about your options. They are not professional career, financial, or legal advice, and we make no guarantee that you will obtain any job, certification, income level, or other result. Decisions you make based on the Services are your own.
9. COMMUNICATIONS
By registering, you agree to receive emails from us about the masterclass and related offers. If you provide a phone number, you also agree to receive text messages, including reminders and related offers. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and stop text messages by replying STOP to any message.
10. YOUR CONDUCT
During the live masterclass, private sessions, and the Techxpert® community, you agree to behave respectfully toward the host, other participants, and our team. We may remove anyone who is disruptive, abusive, or acting in a way that interferes with the session, without refund.
You may not record the live masterclass or any private session without our written permission.
11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Services rely on third-party platforms, including Zoom, our payment provider, our marketing platform, and the Skool community platform. Your use of those platforms is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their availability or conduct.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Your Tech Pathway™, the Site, the masterclass content, the Action Guide, and all related text, graphics, logos, and materials are owned by Melden Tech LLC or used with permission. Techxpert® is a registered trademark. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our names, marks, or materials except as expressly stated.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Melden Tech LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid us for the VIP Experience, or $27 if you paid nothing.
14. PRIVACY
Our collection and use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.
15. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
16. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
